India has been promoting several major initiatives in Non Conventional and Renewable Energy Technologies. Since Hydrogen Energy is playing a key role, Fuel Cell Technologies assume primary significance. This three day symposium will serve to bring together, academia, research laboratories and industries across the globe, interested in this specialized area. The deliberations and interactions will lead to establishing of several tie ups and collaborations in R&D as well as business opportunity developments. Transnational manufacturing industries would have an excellent opportunity to showcase their products and capabilities in the growing economy of transforming India.

This major event is organized by the Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), which has a lead group engaged in Fuel cell R&D in India. The Naval Research Board is the main sponsor. The Seminar & Exhibition will cover the entire spectrum of fuel cells, viz., PAFC, PEMFC, SOFC, MCFC, DMFC, DBFC, Microbial Fuel Cell, etc., as well as auxiliaries and ancillaries like   Fuel Processors, Power Conditioners & Accessories. Military technologies are important consumers of power. Different types of fuel cells have been configured to suit diverse strategic needs of the war fighters. A theme session on Defence Applications of Fuel Cells is planned to cover the current developments in this speciality area

A galaxy of internationally eminent personalities is on the advisory boards of the symposium and a well conceived balance of plenary lectures, invited talks and research papers are scheduled.
